On September 11, 2010, Ms. Palmer will be giving a 5 hour seminar for Broward County's Weekends with the Experts series. The seminar is called "Getting to FAPE: Advocacy Tips Under Laws Designed to Protect Students with Disabilities." Ms. Palmer is planning is to go through fact scenarios while spotting issues and flow-charting laws, rules and research that apply and noting strategies that might help resolve the issues presented. This will be an interactive seminar.
SAVE THE DATE ~ September 11, 2010. This will be a very useful seminar that will be valuable throughout the year. Bring your Wrightslaw Special Education Law book. You may want to consider bringing your lunch, too, because we will have a short lunch break so that we can get as much information as possible.
